Job Title: Junior Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Job Description:

Organon is seeking a highly skilled Junior Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our Central North Europe Cluster. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting distribution and logistics activities for the cluster markets.

The role will involve reporting to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. This is a remote position, preferably located in one of our Central Northern Europe markets.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Supporting the daily operations of our Third-Party Logistics Providers (3PLs), including monitoring interface transactions, performing root cause analysis of SAP issues, and coordinating fixes.
  • Assisting with operational responsibility for all logistics-related tasks, including inbound and outbound shipments, inventory reconciliation, stock adjustments, batch management, and temperature excursions.
  • Reviewing and comparing monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that 3PLs are exceeding said KPIs.
  • Supporting in periodic transport lane risk assessments, including documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Developing local procedures in compliance with regional and global standards for the department to ensure our supply chain standards.
  • Monthly reporting, including Intrastat, and all other reporting tasks.
  • Assisting with webshop administration for the handling of promotional materials, roll-ups, and convention booth materials.
  • Building strong and professional partnerships with local and regional departments, such as Quality and Order to Cash.
  • Supporting the substitution of Logistics Specialists in the CNE cluster.
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, and safety requirements directed by Organon.
  • Participating in various projects as a Logistics subject matter expert.
  • Participating in the yearly physical inventory count.
  • Supporting internal and external audits as needed.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Engineer, Business, or Supply Chain Bachelor's degree and first years but not more than 3 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain and/or Customer Services, preferably in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • High flexibility to support the team in different areas.
  • Knowledge of Supply Chain environment.
  • Ability to create productive relationships with different stakeholders and customers.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Autonomous, pro-active, fast learner.
  • Knowledge of IT tools, such as Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
