About the Role

The Automation Engineer - DCS will play a pivotal role in supporting our new manufacturing site from the design phase through to operational readiness and into operations.

In this capacity, you will collaborate extensively within Novo Nordisk's internal and external departments to ensure comprehensive resource coverage for project tasks and to establish standardized design, implementation, and deployment procedures for highly automated solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key risks, define requirements, and ensure alignment of process control systems and integrating solutions across the project.
  • Support the delivery, validation, and maintenance of process control systems.
  • Create, review, and approve documentation related to the design, operation, and maintenance of process control systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, external partners, and other automation organizations across Novo Nordisk.
Requirements
  • M.Sc. or B.Sc. within IT, Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • 2-5+ years of experience with process control systems (e.g. DeltaV, 800xA, Siemens) in an industrial setting.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Experience within the Pharma industry (GMP experience is a plus) or other regulated industry.
  • The ability to communicate well in spoken and written English.
