About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Machine Learning engineer to lead our algorithm development for a wearable wristband that can auto-track calories consumed without manual meal registration.

The ideal candidate will have experience with rapid prototyping, developing algorithms from scratch, and seeing them through to production and continuous improvement. A strong understanding of math/statistics and time-series data is also desired.

Responsibilities include developing and training new neural net models for calorie-prediction algorithms, as well as designing and implementing additional algorithms to support new features and insights for users.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.

Requirements

  • Experience with rapid prototyping and iterative development
  • Experience with developing algorithms from scratch and seeing the process through to production and continuous improvement

  • Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude
  • Works well in a team
  • Preferred skills: Experience with Python, knowledge of GitLab
