About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a mathematical software developer at 3Shape, you will play a crucial role in elevating the accuracy and image quality of our top-of-the-range scanner systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Improve the image quality and scanner accuracy and precision for next generation intraoral scanners
  • Design and optimize algorithms for our intraoral scanners
  • Devise strategies and implement code for in-production calibration and testing of scanners
  • Keep up with, evaluate, and introduce new technologies for next generation scanners including adoption of AI
  • Collaborate with software, optical, electrical, and mechanical engineers to develop the next versions of our scanner
  • Contribute to a fun and professional work environment within the team and in the 3Shape family

About You:

We are looking for a highly skilled developer with a solid background in mathematics, physics, or other relevant STEM field. Your expertise in object-oriented languages, preferably C#, modern C++, and Python, will be essential in this role.

Your Profile:

  • Educated as a M.Sc. or Ph.D. in physics, mathematics, computer science, electronics engineering, or equivalent
  • Good programming skills in object-oriented languages, preferably with experience in C#, modern C++, and Python
  • Strong interest in and understanding of algorithms and optimization
  • Experience in computer science with advanced mathematical reasoning and good computer vision skills
  • Mindset for quality, flexibility, creativity, emerging technologies, and user-centered design
