As an HSE Professional within our NOV Flexibles team in Kalundborg, you will maintain positive and proactive relations with key stakeholders and employees by assisting with ongoing day-to-day provision of HSE support, training, and reporting functions on site. You will work closely with shop floor operators to educate and train them on risk areas, assist in implementing and updating strategies to address identified key risk areas, and communicate changes and process improvements through formal and informal communication to increase awareness and understanding of HSE issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain adherence to company HSE policies and guidelines by facilitating communication between the shop floor and management regarding key risk areas.
  • Advocate for incident prevention to protect employees, contractors, and visitors.
  • Manage and maintain internal HSE processes, including Permit to Work, Safenotes, inspections, PPE support, chemicals, safety meetings, and contractor introductions.
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to internal guidelines and work instructions to support continuous improvement.
  • Provide HSE risk education and training to employees in daily operations.
  • Report on HSE process performance and improvement needs; record incidents and accidents in SafetyFlex, assist with investigations, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are followed up.
  • Assist in creating and presenting relevant HSE training programs.
  • Collaborate with other operational teams to foster continuous process improvement.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in the HSE field, preferably within operations and manufacturing.
  • Experience with relevant HSE software.
  • AMO course, OSHA certification, NEBOSH certification or other relevant H&S certifications.

Estimated Salary Range: Approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
