We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to join our team at COMSOL A/S. As a key member of our Applications team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers on the use of our multiphysics software for structural mechanics applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training courses and workshops on the use of COMSOL Multiphysics for structural mechanics applications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers on the use of our software for structural mechanics modeling and simulation.
- Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to develop and deliver sales-qualified leads and prospects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in structural mechanics and multiphysics software, and apply this knowledge to improve our products and services.
- A master's degree in engineering, physics, applied mathematics, or a physical science with six months or more experience in modeling structural mechanics applications based on numerical methods.
- Strong background in solid mechanics with a deep understanding of the underlying physics.
- Experience with numerical methods and structural mechanics modeling in one or more of the following applications: statics, dynamics, nonlinear material modeling, contact mechanics, composites, fatigue, piezoelectric devices, elastic waves and structural vibrations.
