About the Position

Nordic Solar A/S is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the 360-degree financial controlling of one or more projects related to the construction of new solar parks and participate in the Group Reporting work.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project controlling models to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, including reconciled profit/loss and balance sheet, to provide stakeholders with timely and accurate financial information.
  • Collaborate with local auditors and administrators to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Monitor filing compliance issues, such as annual reports, VAT, tax, and reporting to authorities.
  • Cooperate with the local administrator/accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
  • Develop financial controlling models to improve financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
Experience

The ideal candidate holds a relevant economic background, such as HD2/HD(R), financial controller, business administration, or similar. We are looking for a candidate with at least 3-5 years of experience in financial controlling or financial reporting, with a strong background in reconciling balance sheets.

Requirements

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can adapt easily to new colleagues and tasks. You should have a high level of responsibility and ensure that your tasks are completed through a proactive work approach. Additionally, you should be able to switch between a detail-oriented and a broader perspective on the business and projects.
