Ecommerce Director

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth on our Shopify-based ecommerce site across multiple markets. This is a hands-on position where you will manage the end-to-end operation of our Shopify store, focusing on driving conversions and revenue.
You will blend creative thinking and analytical skills to plan and execute site merchandising, promotions, and special offers that resonate with our consumers. Collaborating closely with product, creative, and operations teams, you will ensure that the site's performance consistently meets or exceeds our commercial objectives.
Your primary focus will be on managing ecommerce site performance, delivering on sales forecasts and KPIs, and proactively identifying interventions to optimize results. Advanced Shopify knowledge is essential to scope and drive revenue-generating activations; you must be adept at theme customization, app integrations, performance optimizations, and troubleshooting within the Shopify ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Planning:
- Create and execute initiative roadmaps to drive growth and maximize sales on our Shopify site.
- In collaboration with the CMO, align ecommerce initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Identify new onsite opportunities, leveraging Shopify features and apps, to improve customer experience and increase conversion rates.
- Ecommerce website management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our Shopify store, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Regularly update the Shopify site with promotional details, product information, and other relevant content, ensuring seamless merchandising.
- Conduct A/B tests for content placement, merchandising, and other performance-related optimizations within Shopify.
- Promotions, upselling, and campaign management:
- Plan and execute paid campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches, collaborating with creative teams and external consultancies.
- Partner with our agency on CRM efforts, focusing on upselling and enhancing the customer experience through A/B testing of segments, campaigns, flows, messaging, and creative.
- Generate regular reports on ecommerce performance, including sales trends, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
- Analyze data to identify insights, trends, and opportunities for further optimization.
- Proactively provide actionable recommendations to enhance ecommerce performance and achieve business goals, implementing those recommendations in real-time within Shopify and related tools.
