The LEGO Group is seeking a seasoned digital leader to drive the organisation-wide ambition for world-class digital and commerce content experiences. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our global marketing strategy and driving business growth.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a natural innovator with deep strategic and operational experience in digital content and commerce. You will lead the newly created Commerce team globally, overseeing up to 100 people across Denmark, Singapore, Boston, and London. Your expertise will focus on digital content, e-commerce, retail experience, and data-driven dynamic content.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Commerce team globally, providing thought leadership on MVC, digital content, e-commerce, retail experience, and data-driven dynamic content.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital transformation strategy, aligning with our organisation-wide ambition for world-class digital and commerce content experiences.
- Collaborate closely with the new global marketing Markets & Channels organisation and Product Marketing Development (PMD) organisation to achieve articulated marketing transformation goals for the content model.
- Maintain expert knowledge in digital content strategy and operations, including technology enablement, and inspire upskilling within the OLA Commerce team.
- Pursue opportunities for innovation, driving business growth through digital channels, and fostering a culture of creativity and experimentation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with commercial leaders, ensuring alignment and seamless collaboration between teams.
Your Qualifications
- A proven digital content & commerce/retail Agency leader or brand practitioner with extensive experience leading all disciplines and teams.
- Strong strategic and operational skills, with a track record of delivering excellent creative work and driving large-scale transformations.
- Passion for creativity and innovative solutions, with a talent for building partnerships with creative leaders.
- Inclusive by nature, believing that diversity is a superpower, and committed to promoting equality and inclusivity within the team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present transformative ideas and processes to senior leaders.
