About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our team at Pandora Jewelry. As a key member of our Digital & Technology organization, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our technology portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Lean Portfolio Management Processes: Develop and implement lean portfolio management processes to ensure strategic direction, funding, delivery, and outcome measurement.
  • Develop and Maintain Technology Portfolio Strategy: Collaborate with business stakeholders to develop and maintain a technology portfolio strategy and framework aligned with business goals.
  • Establish Prioritization and Planning Mechanisms: Establish mechanisms to drive prioritization and planning of technology projects and initiatives, and facilitate cross-portfolio prioritization alignment.
  • Lead Decision-Making Framework and Governance: Establish and lead a decision-making framework and governance structure to ensure effective portfolio management.
  • Foster Cross-Portfolio Collaboration: Facilitate cross-portfolio collaboration to optimize for the best business outcomes.
  • Evaluate and Track Portfolio-Level Risks: Evaluate and track portfolio-level risks and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to address risks.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure consistent delivery of technology initiatives.
  • Develop Strategic-Level Roadmap: Facilitate and maintain a strategic-level roadmap across the technology portfolio, measuring outcome and progress.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize portfolio management processes and tools.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: 5+ years of experience from a PMO or Portfolio Management function, supporting a complex and large portfolio.
  • Agile and Waterfall Project Management: 2+ years of experience delivering agile and waterfall projects as a project manager.
  • Strong Understanding of Project Management Methodologies: Strong understanding of project and program management methodologies and best practices.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of successfully managing a complex portfolio of initiatives across diverse teams and functions.
  • Portfolio Risk Management: Proven ability to manage portfolio risks and dependencies to enable delivery and outcome realization.
  • Process Development and Implementation: Experience in developing and implementing processes and supporting tools with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Outcome-Based Planning and Measurement: In-depth knowledge of outcome-based planning and measurement, including the use of OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. PowerPoint and Excel, and experience with Confluence and JIRA for project and portfolio management.
