About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Whistleblower Software. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial processes and driving growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Own the month-end closing and reporting process to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Work with our external finance consultants to improve and optimize our current setup around bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and management reporting.
  • Manage our billing and collections process from end to end to improve our cash collection cycle.
  • Consistently automate manual day-to-day finance tasks to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Liaise with auditors and third-party advisors to deliver tax returns, global tax compliance, and complete our annual reports.
  • Run special projects such as opening local subsidiaries, automating processes, and more.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in billing, payments, and accounts receivables management, preferably with experience in bookkeeping/accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve customer issues in a timely manner.
  • Familiarity with tools similar to our tech stack (E-conomics, HubSpot, ChargeBee) is a plus.
  • Growth mindset, eagerness to learn, and strong curiosity with a detail-oriented approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • You are able to work from Copenhagen.
