Your Challenge

As a Logistics Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the distribution sourcing agreements for a world-renowned company. You will join a team of highly skilled Logistics Category Managers with a global responsibility.

This is a unique opportunity for you to shape your future career supporting a highly complex logistics set-up and an ambitious Sustainability Strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review and streamline existing supplier contracts to match logistics needs with respect to quality, service, costs, and sustainability.
  • Handle tender and procurement processes, including negotiating and signing contracts with logistics service providers.
  • Act as a business partner to Market Logistics Managers and Regional Logistics Directors.
  • Participate in strategic, tactical, and cross-functional projects and local initiatives with commercial impact.
  • Help develop the department's KPI baseline and long-term strategy for in-house and outsourced logistics.
  • Manage supplier relationships and drive/support the Supplier Relationship Management system set-up and related processes.
  • Drive VELUX Sustainability Strategy with LSP data and implement more sustainable distribution solutions.

Your Qualifications

You have a thorough understanding of supply chain and the logistics industry and experience with negotiating service contracts on either side of the table. Thus, we imagine that you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience with logistics procurement, or alternatively, as a logistics manager or customer account manager in a transport/logistics company.
  • Possess excellent stakeholder management skills and the interpersonal abilities to drive change in an international organisation.
  • Ideally, you have experience in working with sustainability and CO2e reduction initiatives within transportation.
  • Communicate effortlessly in English verbally and in writing.
  • Are able to travel approximately 25 days a year.
