As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will contribute to strengthening knowledge within the Active Directory and Core Windows Services field. We are currently in the migration phase, where we want to consolidate Active Directories to simplify management and overall complexity of our setup.
The daily long-term activities will include ensuring standardization, stability, and security around Active Directory, but also other Core Windows Components. You will have the opportunity to design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure solutions, leveraging your expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems, and other Core Windows Services.
In this role, you will be working closely with our small infrastructure team to ensure that our infrastructure is running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for ensuring standardization, stability, and security around Active Directory, as well as other Core Windows Components. This includes troubleshooting and resolving issues, implementing security hardening principles, and collaborating with our SOC team using the Microsoft Defender suite.
Centrica Energy is part of the Centrica Group, which has responsibility for the general security posture of the platform. This means that you will be working closely with the corporate group function on activities such as security hardening and troubleshooting.
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including the consolidation of Active Directories, application migration, and the implementation of new infrastructure solutions. You will be expected to have strong technical skills, including experience with Active Directory, Windows Server Operating Systems, and other Core Windows Services.
