Strategic Procurement Manager

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team at Alfa Laval.

This is a highly tactical and strategic role, responsible for managing the Purchasing department. You will work closely with the Global Sourcing Organization within Alfa Laval, negotiating and securing supplier contracts to deliver best quality, delivery, and cost solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Negotiating and implementing Key Supplier Agreements to secure delivery and best quality solutions.
• Developing and implementing systems and ERP solutions to improve procurement efficiency and effectiveness.
• Implementing KPI systems and reports to track procurement performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Cleaning and preparing data for Dynamics365 to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

The role is situated at our site and factory in Nakskov, Denmark, with some international travel required (approximately 10-20 days per year). We offer a hybrid work model, allowing you to work from home when necessary.

We require someone with a proven track record of at least 5-10 years' experience in procurement and negotiation at an international level, combined with solid management experience. A degree in procurement or supply chain management is essential. As we work in an international environment, excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Danish are required.
