Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned construction-focused Cost/Contract Manager to enhance our operations. In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, steering projects towards exceptional results. You will collaborate with a team of highly skilled and cooperative professionals in a client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute pre and post-contract responsibilities, including the formulation of cost estimates, procurement processes, contract management, variations, and final accounts.
  • Conduct feasibility assessments and draft procurement documentation.
  • Oversee estimating and cost planning, culminating in the presentation of the final cost plan.
  • Manage tendering and procurement activities, including the pre-qualification process, tender list creation, preliminary assessments, tender evaluations, and compilation of contractual documents.
  • Ensure timely and precise cost evaluations and assessments.
  • Generate monthly post-contract cost reports and deliver them to clients.
  • Collaborate with clients and other consultants throughout all project phases.
  • Actively engage in post-contract cost variance analysis and change control procedures.
  • Conduct cost risk assessments and contribute to value engineering; negotiate and finalize accounts.
  • Maintain a centralized repository for feedback and insights on cost estimation from projects and contribute to the enhancement of best practices in estimating.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, preferably in Pharma, Biotech, Manufacturing, or Industrial projects.
  • Robust experience in cost management, ideally within a consultancy framework.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various construction and procurement methodologies.
  • Proficient in multiple estimating tools and software applications.
  • Strong background in spreadsheets and database management.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven strong listening and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in Danish is a plus.
