Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Operations Director to join our client's leadership team in Copenhagen.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational leadership, with a proven track record of driving process improvements and optimising production.

About the Role:

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and productivity across the organisation.
  • Play a key role in shaping the company's strategic direction and ensuring smooth production processes.
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, logistics, and HR departments.
  • Manage and optimise the company's supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop department heads to foster a high-performance culture.
  • Manage the operational budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining control over operational costs.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields, with an MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in operational leadership, ideally in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.
  • Extensive experience in managing compliance, safety regulations, and Danish/EU employment law.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and optimising production.
  • Fluency in both Danish and English, with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Benefits:

  • The position is based in Copenhagen.
  • A company car is provided, valued at up to DKK 400,000 (leased and replaced every three years).
  • Official working hours are 37 hours per week, with six weeks of annual leave.
  • Competitive annual salary of approximately DKK 1,400,000, including an 11% pension contribution funded by the company.
  • The role requires occasional travel within Europe, with up to 10-15 travel days per year.
