We are looking for two highly motivated and dynamic postdoctoral researchers to join our team for a 3-year position. The successful candidates will have a PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics or in a related quantitative field, and a passion for problem solving.

The primary goal of this project is to analyze newly generated scRNA-Seq and 10X multiome data sets to reveal the molecular programmes that are active in human blood cells. You will employ cutting-edge single-cell computational approaches to chart and understand the gene regulatory networks that are active in blood cells in health and disease.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and will be tasked with proactively seeking and maintaining appropriate collaborations. Your task would be to drive forward the project, working closely with biologists, clinicians and bioinformaticians within and outside the group to accomplish scientific objectives.

**Research Objectives:**

  • Reveal the molecular programmes active in human blood cells using scRNA-Seq and 10X multiome data sets.
  • Employ cutting-edge single-cell computational approaches to understand gene regulatory networks in blood cells.
  • Collaborate with researchers to integrate results and generate novel hypotheses.

**Requirements:

  • PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics or in a related quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in single-cell genomics and computational biology.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
