At Samsonite International S.A, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our team in Copenhagen.

This is a part-time opportunity that requires the ability to work 10 hours per week. As a Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth by projecting a positive image of the Company at all times.

Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service/Sales
  1. Offer expert advice on Samsonite products, ensuring a friendly shopping experience for customers.
  2. Provide demonstrations of products, highlighting their features and benefits.
  3. Maintain detailed product knowledge to maximize sales and drive add-on sales.
  4. Be knowledgeable about store layout, products, and stock availability.
  5. Deal with customers in a cheerful, polite, and efficient manner, considering their needs.
  6. Handle customer complaints and phone queries tactfully in line with Company Policy.
  7. Process transactions efficiently and professionally, adhering to Company Procedures.
  8. Be aware of Samsonite after-sales service, Supplier's warranties, and areas covered.
  9. Maintain awareness of sales promotions, incentives, and product brochures.
  10. Be aware of all sales figures, targets, and commission on a daily/weekly/period basis.
Stock/Merchandising
  1. Process deliveries and communicate any discrepancies efficiently.
  2. Ensure backup stock and stockrooms are kept in order.
  3. Be knowledgeable of all products (current and new) and selling benefits.
  4. Assist in layouts and maintenance of merchandising and internal displays.
  5. Read and action relevant Head Office communication.
  6. Assist in stock counts as directed by Store Manager.
Security
  1. Ensure security issues are acted upon where possible and reported to Management.
  2. Remain vigilant when dealing with stock and monies, ensuring Company Procedures are always followed.
House Keeping
  1. Maintain high standards at all times within the branch.
  2. Ensure cleaning is carried out daily and look after all fixtures, fittings, and stock.
Operations/Administrative Duties
  1. Handle telephone enquiries in a polite, helpful, and efficient manner; ensure all messages are communicated.
  2. Ensure all customer enquiries/orders are communicated to Head Office in accordance with Company Procedures.
  3. Open and close the store following Company Procedures.
  4. Carry out stock and personnel administration as directed by Management.
Attendance
  1. Report for work 10 minutes before the start of the shift to prepare for the scheduled start time.
  2. If absent or late, contact the store at the earliest opportunity to allow for alternative arrangements.
  3. Inform Manager directly via telephone if unable to attend work.
  4. Make up lost business time and discuss with Manager.
  5. Attend training courses as directed by Store Manager, arriving at the venue in a timely manner.
  6. Adhere to company attendance policy.
Appearance
  1. Maintain a well-groomed, neat, and tidy appearance at all times, in line with Company Dress Policy.
Health & Safety
  1. Act upon accidents or potential dangers to staff or customers, reporting to Management.
  2. Be knowledgeable of Health and Safety Manual and fire safety procedures of managing agent within store.
