About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end financial accounting for our Nordic legal entities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production of statutory accounts and management of external year-end audit
  • Management of the month-end close processes, including EPM reporting and ERP-EPM reconciliations
  • Order management and oversight of revenue reconciliations
  • Quarterly IFRS package close
  • Maintenance and improvement of the internal control environment
  • Oversight and approval of payment runs
  • Tax reporting
  • Review of monthly results and collaboration with Commercial Director
  • Annual budget planning and monthly forecasting
  • Oversight of key business systems
  • Pro-active identification of risk areas and recommendation of solutions
  • Managing external relations
  • Project work to build/improve streamlined systems, processes and controls
Requirements
  • A suitable accounting qualification
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role managing an overall finance function
  • Excellent system and process understanding
  • Results-oriented, proactive and personable approach
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn
