The position
At Systematic, we are looking for our new Lead Developer for our Insights scrum team in Copenhagen.

Reporting to our Senior Project Manager for Insight in Copenhagen, you will join our product SitaWare Insight. The product is our decision support tool that transforms data collection and management into valuable military intelligence, and provides commanders with advanced storage, compute, and analytic capabilities.

Your every day tasks will look something like the following:

• Write Feature Requirement Specifications
• Act as the technical lead for the Insight team in Copenhagen (The Project Manager, having the people lead responsibilities)
• Ensure collaboration with other teams and programs in CPH as well as Insight-Teams in our headquarter in Aarhus
• Implement high quality software on the Insight platform
• Develop and document code according to agile principles using Angular, Java, and other relevant technologies (this will be maximum 25-30% of your time)

SitaWare Insight makes use of a variety of technologies and frameworks, where the most prominent are:

Angular 14 (TypeScript, SCSS), Java 17 microservices using Spring Boot, Docker on Kubernetes with Istio and Helm, Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Prometheus and Grafana, Gradle and Bazel, Linux and Bash scripting

Your Qualifications
Beyond being a technically skilled developer, looking to take on both lead- and architect focused assignments, that have a desire to share your knowledge in order to make your junior colleagues as good as yourself, we are also looking for the following:

• BA or MA in a relevant field within the area of Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least +5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Backend development experience with Java and frontend experience with Angular
• You have professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written

As you can see from the tech stack, it would furthermore, be an advantage to be proficient in cloud native and cloud agnostic architectures and principles.
