Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark Podimo Full time

We are one of the fastest-growing podcast and audiobook platforms in Europe, and we are now looking for a
Senior
M&A Integration Manager
to join our growing team.

Come and join us on our journey to enrich lives through listening.

This is the role
As our new Senior M&A Integration Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that newly acquired companies and business units are integrated smoothly and effectively - in ways that support both business goals and our culture.

You will lead integration planning and execution from due diligence through post-close delivery, working closely with leaders across People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tech, and Content. Not every acquisition will follow the same path - some will be fully integrated, while others will maintain some independence. Your role will be to define and manage the proper integration approach for each case.

You will also be responsible for developing and continuously improving Podimo's integration playbooks, frameworks, and best practices, helping us scale our M&A activities with clarity and consistency.

The role is based out of our newly rebuilt Copenhagen HQ. You will be reporting directly to our Chief People & Culture Officer and will be part of a dedicated team primarily responsible for ensuring smooth transitions and integration.

What You'll Do

  • Support due diligence and pre-acquisition processes with the M&A team, including information gathering, stakeholder coordination, risk assessment, and preparation of integration plans to ensure a seamless transition post-close.
  • Lead and coordinate integration programs across newly acquired companies, tailoring the level and scope of integration to the strategic intent of each deal.
  • Design and execute integration strategies and plans, ensuring alignment across people, culture, systems, and operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - including People & Culture, Finance, Legal, Tech, and Content - to ensure a coordinated and transparent integration process.
  • Assess organisational structures, talent, and culture, and develop integration plans that strengthen collaboration and performance.
  • Drive change management and communication efforts, ensuring employees and leaders experience clarity, inclusion, and engagement throughout transitions.
  • Establish integration governance, including milestones, risk tracking, and reporting to senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain Podimo's integration playbooks, capturing learnings, tools, and frameworks to support future M&A activities.
  • Monitor progress and outcomes, identifying lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.

This is you
You're someone who balances structure with flexibility, recognising that every integration looks a little different. As a warm and collaborative communicator, you naturally build trust and alignment across teams. You navigate cultural and organisational differences with empathy and professionalism, helping people feel included and understood. And you're energised by shaping scalable processes, thriving in a fast-growing environment where you can help build something new.

Additionally, We Prioritise Candidates Who Successfully Showcase The Following

  • 5+ years of experience in M&A integration, transformation, or large-scale organisational change.
  • Minimum a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading integration initiatives across multiple business functions with excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong understanding of organisational design, change management, and people processes.
  • High integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive M&A information.
  • Experience with integration tools, HRIS systems, and collaboration platforms.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus

These Are The Benefits

  • ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) for all employees.
  • Up to six months of fully paid parental leave for all new parents - no matter how you identify or where in the world you live
  • Free online therapy sessions through We.Care.
  • Delicious lunch with great colleagues.
  • Learning and personal development opportunities to help you thrive and enrich your skills in a fast-paced creator economy.
  • Opportunity to work flexible hours and remotely.
