This position bridges the gap between R&D and manufacturing, ensuring smooth implementation of lab-developed processes into plant operations. You'll work in an agile, collaborative environment alongside technologists, scientists, and engineers to optimize processes and deliver high-quality products.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the link between lab pilot scale and plant process scale
  • Implement and adapt processes developed by scientists for full-scale production
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in plant operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process safety and efficiency
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to product and process optimization

What We're Looking For

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or other relevant field of study
  • Proven experience of 5+ years in plant production processes and process engineering
  • Familiarity with seaweed processing and hydrocolloid applications in the food industry
  • Ability to work on-site for extended periods to support production and troubleshoot issues
  • Strong technical competence and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Knowledge of process safety management and a strong safety mindset

Full professional proficiency in English is required and will be evaluated as a part of the recruitment process. Additional proficiency in Danish, Portuguese, and French is considered as a significant advantage for the global collaboration within the scope of the role.
