About us

Nordic Clays is a young Danish start-up company in growth, which has been in operation since 2021. The team currently consists of a team of five employees, soon six.

We design and manufacture new and revolutionary clay thrower systems and clay targets.

Our Bio-Clays product line (clay targets) is made from biodegradable materials which is also eco-friendly.

All our products are created to revolutionize something as old as the clay pigeon thrower into a version that is durable in these modern and busy times.

Our mission is a future where every shot leaves only memories, not a trace.

Sustainability

  • Our clay targets are manufactured from biodegradable materials which in addition also makes them eco-friendly, so they do not pollute the environment they 'land' in while degrading.
  • The Bio-Clays only weigh 18-23% of the traditional clay targets, which means that there is only 18-23% material left in nature to be decomposed, compared to the traditional clay target.
  • The low weight of our Bio-Clays also has a positive impact on the CO2 emissions, which is reduced drastically during its supply chain, as our clay targets (20,5-25g) weigh up to 5,4 times less than the traditional clay targets (110g).
  • As a member of
    '1 % for the Planet'
    we want to further promote our mission. This membership means that we donate 1 % of our revenue before tax and profits to environmental purposes to help maintain and protect our planet for the future generations.

Role Description

We're excited to welcome a
dedicated, driven and proactive
Mechanical Engineer to our team in Frederiksberg C, starting 1st of December or before)

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems in CAD
  • Research and development (R&D)
  • Manufacturing & production optimization
  • Quality control

Daily tasks will include machine design, and collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure innovative solutions are implemented as simple and effective as possible.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software (Preferably Solidworks)
  • Experience with manufacturing and R&D
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
