København, Denmark Danske Bank Full time 90,000 - 120,000 per year

We're looking for a talented Communications Specialist to join the Tech Innovation & Foundation department and help shape the voice of our technology organization.

This role will focus on storytelling, strategic communication, and engagement — helping translate complex initiatives into clear, inspiring messages that connect with our people and showcase our innovation to the wider organization. You will work closely with the Comms & Events Lead and senior leaders to drive alignment, engagement, and visibility through compelling internal and external communication.

The Role

Executive and Strategic Communication

  • Support the CTO and senior leaders in crafting engaging messages, presentations, and scripts for key events, townhalls, and videos.
  • Translate strategic initiatives and transformation updates into clear, accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Partner with the Comms & Events Lead on storytelling frameworks and content strategy to ensure consistent tone, clarity, and impact.

Content Creation & Storytelling

  • Develop high-quality written and visual content — including articles, op-eds, blogs, internal posts, and video scripts — that bring our transformation story to life.
  • Manage the content calendar for internal and external channels (intranet, newsletters, Teams, LinkedIn).
  • Lead campaign storytelling: align messaging, visuals, and timing to key organizational milestones.
  • Craft human-centered stories that highlight innovation, culture, and team achievements.

Media & External Engagement

  • Partner with corporate communications and PR on media requests, interviews, and external storytelling opportunities.
  • Draft key messages and Q&A briefs for leadership engagement.
  • Support the planning and execution of thought-leadership initiatives on platforms such as LinkedIn.

Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

  • Plan and deliver communication campaigns that connect employees to the CTO's vision, the Transformation Office agenda, and company strategy.
  • Support townhalls, leadership calls, and internal events with communications materials (speaker notes, recaps, visuals).
  • Create and manage engaging content across collaboration platforms (Teams, intranet, newsletters).
  • Gather feedback through pulse surveys and engagement analytics to refine messaging and tone.
Contribute to the development of templates, playbooks, and comms guidelines for consistency.

About you

  • Over 8 years of experience in corporate communications, content creation, or internal communications.
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills — able to turn technical or strategic content into engaging, human narratives.
  • Experienced in collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple communication streams simultaneously.
  • Experience managing channels such as intranet, newsletters, LinkedIn, and collaboration tools (Teams, Viva Engage).
Understanding of digital media, campaign planning, and analytics.

What You'll Gain

You will have the opportunity to shape how our technology transformation is communicated and understood, gaining a front-row seat to innovation within a growing transformation office. This role allows you to influence communication strategy and see your storytelling contribute to effective messaging, while also providing exposure to senior leadership, global communication channels, and high-profile initiatives.
