Join us as our new Associate Manager
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Manager to join our Spray plant at site Fuglebakken in Copenhagen. In this role, you will lead a team of approximately 10 employees, consisting of highly skilled operators and technicians. Your team is responsible for the spray drying of a wide range of food grade enzymes.
As Associate Manager, your responsibilities will include driving employee development, implementing systematic problem-solving approaches, optimizing processes, and ensuring smooth and efficient production operations.
While our production operates 24/7, this position is a daytime role. You will work closely with the other Associate Managers in the department and collaborate with managers, technicians, operators, and chemists across the site to ensure seamless coordination and performance.

Fuglebakken consists of three production departments: Spray, Recovery and Fermentation. On site there is also a dedicated maintenance department and employees from logistics and planning. At Fuglebakken, a wide range of food grade enzymes are produced for a variety of industries. All production is performed in accordance with GMP. The site is known for its relatively small size and the informal tone, across job functions and departments.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
Maintaining an overview, following up on team performance, and setting a clear direction for the team
Leading and motivating the team to complete tasks correctly in a complex environment
Developing employees and ensuring engagement through visible and present leadership
Ensuring compliance with GMP, company policies and procedures
Demonstrating proactivity and ensuring a robust and efficient production line
To succeed you must:
Have a relevant educational background, e.g., a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management and Marine Engineering or a Master's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related field
Have solid management experience
Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Have several years of production experience, preferably in biotechnology production
Possess knowledge of GMP and LEAN principles
