The Team

You will be joining one of the cross-professional feature teams, developing features and content for our game. We study relevant features in competing games and make pragmatic choices on whether to develop something new versus taking inspiration from existing mechanics and iterating on them. Player choice, retention, quality of life, accessibility, and customization options (including mod support) are important factors when we develop features and content. The right person will have the opportunity to take on more leadership responsibilities over time, depending on interest and performance.

Desirable skills and knowledge

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience working with PC and/or console games
  • Preferably experience working with multiplayer games
  • Excellent C++ skills
  • Experience working with Unreal Engine
  • You have shipped several games
  • At least 2 credits from an AA or AAA game
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Very good organizational and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Role responsibilities

  • Develop new game features together with other developers
  • Refactor existing game features
  • Assist with technical design and planning tasks
  • Assist with enforcing project code standards
  • Fix bugs and help with optimization efforts
  • Mentor other developers
