Role Description

Advisory Board Member
— Copenhagen or Remote

As we are at an early stage of company formation, this is a voluntary, non-remunerated advisory role.
We're seeking an experienced executive from a major foundation or a committed, long-time philanthropist
 to provide strategic guidance and oversight as we shape strategy, strengthen governance, and scale our impact, and deep commitment to transparency, innovation, and systems-level change in the philanthropic sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in advisory/board meetings and provide strategic counsel to the founders and leadership
  • Advise on strategic approaches and partnerships with foundations, family offices, FIs, and NGOs.
  • Engage your network and collaborate with key stakeholders to shape and advance our mission and objectives
  • Provide guidance on financial planning and resourcing for sustainable growth
  • Contribute to our impact measurement and data-mapping roadmap (frameworks, indicators, comparability)

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in foundation leadership or a significant track record as a strategic philanthropist
  • Sharp understanding of sector inefficiencies that delay or misalign capital allocation (e.g., fragmented data, due-diligence bottlenecks, high transaction costs, compliance frictions, non-standard impact metrics) and practical ideas to address them via governance, tooling, and partnerships
  • Deep insights into grant processes, capital mobilisation, program design, and impact measurement
  • Willingness to share insights, networks, and mentorship with our founding team
