Full Stack Developer for healthcare project – make a difference from the start of your career

You will become part of our expanding team developing Columna CIS – Systematic's electronic medical record (EMR) which is used in three of the five Danish regions.

The solution provides an overview of patients' care pathways as well as documentation support for all clinical tasks in the hospital. Columna CIS features both medicine prescription support, the recording of clinical measurements and treatment notes, as well as an overview of the patient's medical history, diagnoses and health-related contacts.

The solution is currently being internationalised, which is the first step in expanding the product outside Denmark.

The team

As our new Developer, you will become a part of a Scrum team consisting of 5–10 Developers, Testers, an Architect, a Domain Adviser and a Project Manager. We work with Scrum methodology, and combine periods of deep focus on coding with ongoing sparring and collaboration in the team. Some of our Developers are situated in Romania but are an integrated part of your team.

In general, the CIS Columna project has many seasoned and very competent Developers, so you will have ample opportunity to learn from some of the best in the field of healthcare software.

The job

In your role as a Developer, you will handle complex technical development tasks related to integration development and core product development.

Your role will involve leading and developing features, outlining design concepts, writing documentation and testing your work.

You will work with the following technologies:

• Java
• Angular
• Swing
• HL7 FHIR
• Apache Camel integration framework
• Oracle PL/SQL
• JBoss Enterprise Application Platform
• ActiveMQ, IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, JWT

Your toolbox also includes IntelliJ IDEA, GIT, Gradle and Ansible.

In addition, AI is playing an increasingly important role with regard to our customer-facing solutions and the tools we use to create software.

Your profile

We expect you to hold a bachelor's degree as a minimum but preferably a master's degree in software development. You are a recent graduate, or you have a few years of experience as a Full Stack Developer. You have experience with Java or other object-oriented development languages, and have worked with front-end frameworks like Angular.

You possess extensive technical knowledge of software and code, as well as being focused on understanding the customer's needs – building a product would be a plus.

You do not need to have experience with the healthcare area and standards such as HL7 FHIR, but we expect you to have a keen interest in learning.

As a person, you are very team-oriented, and it is natural for you to be in an environment where close teamwork and close cooperation with other stakeholders outside the team are key to success.

To be considered for this position, we expect you to be fluent in both Danish and English.
