Sales and Operations Planner

About the role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Operations Planner to join our Global Supply Chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating sales forecasts, inventory planning, and operations strategies to enhance efficiency and meet customer demands. This role is crucial in aligning supply chain activities with business objectives and driving continuous improvement.
As we implement a new planning system, Quiver, during the first half of 2026, this resource will be responsible for maintaining and updating the system to ensure our forecasts remain accurate and up to date. Based on forecast and suggestions from Quiver, this individual will also handle our supply planning, including reviewing reorder points and placing purchasing orders in our ERP system, SAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain sales forecasts, collaborating with the sales team to ensure accuracy and alignment with market trends.
- Analyze inventory levels and manage replenishment strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
- Monitor and assess operational KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Facilitate both New Product Launch and End of Life processes, coordinating activities across design, product development, supply chain, and sales.
- Participate in demand planning processes and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.
- Align promos with sales and marketing teams, ensuring high delivery performance on key activities
- Maintain and update the Quiver planning system to keep forecasts current and relevant.
- Review reorder points and place purchasing orders in SAP based on forecasts and Quiver suggestions.
- Prepare the material for the monthly S&OP meeting with management, providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Key Objectives:
- High forecast volume and mix accuracy (A, B, C, and Promos)
- High delivery performance on make-to-stock items
- Healthy inventory quality / high stock turn
- Successful product launches
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales and operations planning, preferably in a global supply chain environment.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite; experience with forecasting software is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
