Core Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership to the wider experience design team so that they collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into comprehensive design briefs and visual representations
- Deliver the strategic LEGOLAND vision to current and future projects, through business decision-making processes and mandates
- Drive Experience Design: Deliver creative solutions for projects across 10 different LEGOLAND resorts, set the LEGO and LEGOLAND brand experience direction in collaboration with key partners and Merlin Entertainments.
- Be an Ambassador: Champion the LEGOLAND Existing Estate, ensuring partners have the training and processes needed for success.
- Motivate and Encourage: Work with senior partners including the leadership team members, to maintain high motivation and satisfaction within the LBPX Experience Global Design team, the broader LBPX team, and with Merlin Magic Making
- Collaborate and Lead: Provide senior stakeholder updates, initiate dialogues for internal escalations, and ensure NPS improvements in all new attractions from 2026 onwards
- Bring the Brand Vision to Life: Apply strategic vision to our projects. Define and improve global theme park experiences, and holistically lead new attraction development and delivery like the LEGO CITY roller coaster from concept to launch

The LEGO Brand Park & Experience (LBPX team) brings the LEGO brand to life across LEGOLAND attractions including water parks, theme parks, and different accommodation types such as hotels.
Merlin Entertainments is the second largest theme park operator in the world with over a 100 million guests annually. Among others, the group owns and operates 11 LEGOLAND Parks, 9 LEGOLAND Hotels and 4 LEGOLAND Water Parks with more than 18 million guests a year.
The LBPX team supports the broader organization by the mission to amaze and engage all LEGOLAND visitors, families with children age 2-12.

Do you have what it takes?
- Proven experience in location-based entertainment
- Experience design knowledge and experience
- People leadership experience an advantage due to the degree of informal leadership in the role. Also experience from effective relationship building with demonstrated strong examples of outstanding ability to inspire and motivate a creative team
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering innovative and successful creative solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey creative concepts
- Strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of branding, storytelling, and immersive experiences
