Join Dalux and help us transform the construction industry with innovative, user-centered software solutions
Your New Role
As a Product Designer at Dalux, you'll become an integral part of our close-knit team of 8 passionate designers. Together, we craft intuitive and impactful solutions that make a real difference in one of the world's largest – and least digitalized – industries.
You won't just be designing screens—you'll be solving meaningful problems and shaping how buildings are designed, built, and maintained. You'll dive deep into user needs, explore innovative ideas, and help turn insights into elegant solutions that deliver real value.
In this role, you will
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Tech Leads in product trios to uncover opportunities, shape impactful solutions, and support the adoption of Continuous Discovery practices.
- Conduct in-depth user research, uncovering insights that guide the design of intuitive, impactful solutions.
- Design, prototype, and iterate user interfaces using Figma, delivering intuitive and visually engaging solutions.
- Leverage and contribute to Dalux's design system to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Bridge the gap between design and development, working closely with developers to ensure your ideas are implemented seamlessly and with precision.
- Continuously improve the product, testing designs with users and iterating based on feedback.
What to Expect as a Daluxian
At Dalux, we foster a creative, collaborative, and supportive environment where your ideas make an impact. Here's what you can look forward to as part of our team:
- Central location in Copenhagen, focus on work/life balance without any overtime, and no dress code.
- An active social environment with monthly events and social clubs.
- Flat communication in our organization, where the journey from idea to product is short—combined with creative freedom and a high level of trust in your work—ensuring that you will be able to create tangible value for our users.
- You will join a highly specialized, international team with room for creativity and professional growth.
- Strong focus on diversity and inclusion – your ideas are heard, and opportunities are available to all.
- Attractive employee benefits such as health insurance, lunch plan, coffee and fruit, free fitness facilities, and free parking garage.
- Focus on your development and well-being, with support for both professional goals and personal growth.
Your Background
We're looking for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges with simple, elegant solutions. You should have at least 3 years of experience designing complex software systems, preferably in SaaS, and hold a relevant university degree (bachelor's or master's level).
You'll do well in this role if you:
- Are skilled in user research—from interviews to usability testing—and can turn insights into actionable designs.
- Understand the value of Continuous Discovery and have experience working in product trios or similar collaborative setups.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills, thriving in close partnerships with developers and Product Managers.
- Are curious, analytical, and detail-oriented, with the ability to quickly understand technical systems and industry-specific workflows.
- Are fluent in English, and proficient in at least one of the following languages: Danish, French, Spanish, or Italian.
Why language skills are required:
Dalux operates in a range of key international markets where local understanding is crucial. Mastery of these languages enables our designers to better understand user needs, cultural nuances, and workflows—ensuring that our solutions truly fit each market and deliver meaningful value.

About Dalux
Founded in 2005, Dalux is a Danish Contech company revolutionizing the construction industry with innovative software built on geometric processing and 3D computer graphics. Despite being the world's second-largest industry, construction remains one of the least digitalized, with only 30% of onsite time spent on actual building tasks.
At Dalux, we're changing this by providing end-to-end solutions that streamline the entire lifecycle of a building—from design and construction to maintenance and eventual demolition—reducing waste, time, and costs.
We stay ahead by using cutting-edge technology, including cloud solutions, drones, computer vision, and AI, to transform how the construction industry works. Over the last five years, we've grown by 60% annually and now have over 700 employees across 50+ offices in more than 25 countries. All product development takes place in our Østerbro, Copenhagen office, where we focus on building the future of construction technology.
We place great value on our strong social community and close collaboration with colleagues, which is why we primarily work from our Copenhagen location.
