Are you a strategic finance leader ready to partner with our high-growth Food & Beverage business area and make a lasting impact? At Novonesis, we are looking for a VP Business Finance, Food & Beverage Biosolutions (FBB) to join our team.

Welcome to Business Finance at Novonesis

In this role, you will act as a close and trusted strategic business partner to the Executive Vice President of one of our largest and fastest-growing business areas. Here you will drive key initiatives, provide actionable insights, and facilitate decision-making to support the continued success, working closely with senior leaders across the organization to help chart the best course for the business area.
 

In addition to leading a small, dedicated team within a global organization spanning multiple regions and cultures, you'll join a large and diverse global Business Finance function of nearly 100 colleagues, offering a strong professional environment with skilled and inspiring individuals.
 

Reporting directly to the SVP of Group & Commercial Business Finance, you will be a key player in collaborating across financial and commercial areas to guide, support, and share best practices to continuously raise the bar, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and an enterprise mindset.

As VP Business Finance you will make an impact by:

• Acting as the strategic finance business partner for the Food and Beverage Biosolutions business area – working closely with commercial leadership, Operations, and R&D.

• Translating the business unit's strategy into actionable financial and operational KPIs, investment plans and forecasts, supported by robust business cases where relevant.

• Acting as a trusted partner and advisor by delivering actionable insights, challenging assumptions, and supporting strategic decisions to drive growth, improve margins, and sustainable value creation including sustainability-focused finance practice.

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing finance team positioned at the intersection of business and corporate finance, driving agile execution, fostering collaboration, and ensuring robust financial control.
   

What we're looking for in the ideal candidate:

• Proven experience leading finance functions within commercial or business-focused areas, ideally in dynamic, international, and growth-oriented environments.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to collaborate closely with business leaders, while being able to balance the responsibility of both supporting and challenging when necessary.

• Prior experience in a global role - extending beyond European markets - is highly valued.

• Confidence in your strategic and financial toolbox to voice your opinion, argue your case, and support it with fact-based data to strengthen your recommendations.

• The ability to apply analytical rigor, develop models, and work effectively within complex environments involving global operations and diverse portfolios.

• A mindset oriented to both growth and operational discipline - supporting a company scaling rapidly in demanding markets.

• Proven passion for sustainability, biosolutions or transformative industries is highly regarded, but not a requirement.

• While relocation to Denmark is an option, it is not a strict requirement if it presents a challenge for the ideal candidate.
