BU Energy separation (ENS) Engineering & Supply is looking for a proactive Technical Project Manager to handle customer project on time, on quality and on cost in an agile project management way.

Short about us in BU Energy Separation (ENS)

BU ENS Søborg design, engineer, and supply customized units for a wide range of industries by using Alfa Laval high-performance products like plate heat exchanges, high speed separator, decanter etc.

We in BU ENS Søborg deliver projects all over the world, with supply chains mainly in Europe & China, engineering team in Europe & India and sales teams in Sweden & Denmark. Our activities are divided into the following areas: Desalinated water, industrial wastewater, chemical & green evaporation, and fluid separation.

BU ENS is an important part of Alfa Laval’s work, being a major supplier to the worlds green transition projects in many areas, like industrial wastewater treatment, hydrogen production, plastic recovery etc.

Main responsibilities

Define the project scope and requirements together with the engineering team, Executive PM, bid & sales.

Take the overall design responsibility.

Drive the project team to work as a team in an agile project management way, working with stand-up & sprint etc.

Together with the team plan the project deliverables according to the project schedule and milestones.

Stimulate, motivate, and inspire the project team to deliver on time, on cost, on spec, as part of our Agile Project Management setup.

Follow-up on project results, KPIs, hours and costs.

Together with the quotation engineer organize and execute the engineering and bid activities for appointed quotations.

The position will be in Søborg and you will report to the Project Management Team Manager for BU ENS. 20 Travel days are expected.

Who are you?

We’re looking for a well-structured person who can lead engineering teams, working with an agile project management approach. You should be communicative and able to liaise across different cultures. You seek fulfillment in reaching set goals and to get things done.

For us technical knowledge and pride for the details of high important. Our customers expect high tech products from Alfa Laval, and quality in every part of our delivery.

You have a “can do” attitude and are flexible and adaptable to changing situations. A positive mindset to changes is essential.

Training in agile project management is an advantage.

We believe you have several years working experience from engineering positions including experience as a project manager in an international and industrial environment.

You have a graduate degree in engineering, and you are fluent in written and verbal English.
