Do you want to take data stewardship of some of our most intricate, global, cross-functional strategic data projects in a world-wide recognized company? Then you might be our new colleague. 

As our new Data Analyst, you will be at the forefront of our data management initiatives, focusing on the discovery and integration of new data sources into Microsoft Purview. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring these sources are accurately mapped, tagged, and seamlessly incorporated into our systems.

Working closely with our Data Engineer, you will contribute to the upkeep and enhancement of our data catalog, aligning with data governance standards and practices.

You will be responsible for ensuring that your deliverables are coordinated and implemented with other delivery teams and stakeholders across the organization, in collaboration with each specific initiative product owner and the Data Transformation Lead.

The team you will be part of

As our new Data Analyst, you will be based at our global HQ, located in Ballerup Denmark and report to our Data Transformation Lead and Product Owner Martin Stevns.

You will join a team of 50 technical, supportive, and encouraging colleagues located in Denmark, Europe and in China, who are all looking forward to welcoming you to the team.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

 Proactively identify and integrate new data sources, ensuring proper mapping and classification within Microsoft Purview and LeanIX

Collaborate with the Data Engineer to maintain and refine the data catalog, adhering to best practices

Utilize data cataloging tools to enhance data accessibility and quality across the organization

Engage in cross-functional teamwork, partnering with various departments to meet data analysis needs

Support the development and maintenance of data products, contributing to the future data marketplace

Drive innovation in data utilization and management, proposing new ideas in collaboration with stakeholders and the Data Transformation Lead

Foster relationships with both domestic and international colleagues, enhancing global data strategies

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have

Enthusiasm for data, with a knack for navigating a dynamic, global organization.

Proficiency in Microsoft Purview operation, data mapping, classification, and integration

Strong collaborative-, and stakeholder management abilities, capable of working in tandem with teams and independently initiating projects

Experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles, particularly within complex, international environments

A relevant higher education degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field.

A solid understanding of business requirements and the ability to translate them into technical solutions

Experience with agile methodologies (, Scrum) and a willingness to learn new technologies

Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders – as well as “transforming” organizational requirements into solid technical solutions. Ensuring customer satisfaction is your top priority

You should also expect to travel 5-10 days a year to visit your colleagues outside of Poland. These days of travel will be able to plan in advance.
