Your future team

Within Group R&D, our dynamic innovation hub, you’ll find a team of approximately 130 exceptionally talented individuals. These experts come from diverse specialist backgrounds, and their unwavering competence and passion drive our relentless pursuit of excellence.

What you will be doing

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead and oversee projects of varying sizes, collaborating with a team of 2 to 10 specialists. Your mission? Set clear goals, motivate your team, and ensure project achievement.

You’ll work closely with other project managers and a Technical Area Manager, contributing to the organization’s overall success.

Consider yourself the keystone, coordinating internal resources and external vendors to execute projects flawlessly. Your focus will be on delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

Engage with stakeholders across ROCKWOOL, from testing labs to production. You’ll also actively participate in on-site project implementation.

Expect 40-60 days of annual travel, primarily within Europe, as you oversee projects across ROCKWOOL’s worldwide factories.

What you bring

In the realm of research and development (R&D), certainty about project outcomes is a rarity. As a result, your ability to step up, leverage your project management expertise, and inspire your team becomes crucial.

Even in the face of uncertainty, your leadership will guide projects toward success.

You have a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably within R&D. Your track record demonstrates your ability to navigate uncertainty and drive successful outcomes.

A degree in chemical engineering, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, or a related field is essential. Your technical expertise will be invaluable.

As a strong communicator, you’ll motivate your team, liaise with stakeholders, and keep everyone informed.

Thriving in dynamic environments, you’re adept at steering projects even when faced with ambiguity.

Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is a must.
