We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Information Security Specialist to join our team. The candidate chosen for the role will be assisting us in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our company's and our customers’ information systems and data. You will work closely with our IT department, technical experts, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Conducting security assessments to our information systems and infrastructure, together with our technical experts
  • Implementing and maintaining security measures, in order to ensure compliance and security of our information assets
  • Developing and implementing security policies and procedures
  • Responding to and investigating security incidents, and working on preventing similar incidents in the future together with our technical teams
  • Working across the whole organisation and stakeholders to advocate and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
  • Participating in security audits (internal and external)
  • Day-to-day administrative tasks related to information security and compliance
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in information security

What helps you to succeed in this role?

  • Most importantly, a strong interest in the information security field
  • Bachelor's degree in Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least one year experience in security management in IT industry -or- at least 5 years overall IT experience
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques
  • Experience of the most known privacy and security frameworks and regulations (e.g., EU-GDPR, ISO27001, NIST and ISAE3000/SOC 2)
  • Ability to work independently, good communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and analytical skills

This position is available in Finland (Helsinki, Tampere), Poland (Łódź), UK (Southampton) and Sweden (Stockholm, Malmö, or Gothenburg). Some traveling will be required as well.
