About the Team:
In 2024, we continue establishing our Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team - a passionate team of thinkers, makers, and doers focused on enabling transparency and prioritization across Pandora’s digital portfolio. Strategy, Portfolio & Planning is a growing team, with members both in Copenhagen and Warsaw.

We work directly with colleagues, senior stakeholders, and digital teams, ensuring we have the right level of governance in place to deliver on Pandora’s strategic themes. In a defined cadence, we ensure transparency on the work, value and performance delivered by the delivery teams. In addition, we drive strategy formulation and executive support to our CDTO.

We're seeking a talented Strategy Manager to join this dynamic Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team and play a pivotal role in shaping our digital future and ensuring we deliver on our corporate and technology strategy and digital transformation.

As the Strategy Manager you will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives, optimizing costs, supporting executive communications, and overseeing the execution of our corporate strategy. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the formulation and execution of key technology strategies while ensuring transparency on value management and benefits realization.

 

Your role as Strategy Manager will be dynamic and will include:

Facilitating Strategy Formulation for Key Technology Areas:

  • Lead strategy formulation workshops and sessions for key technology areas, including digital transformation, data strategy, e-commerce, and omnichannel initiatives, genAI & predictive analytics etc.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to identify strategic priorities, goals, and action plans.
  • Develop frameworks and methodologies to evaluate technology investments and opportunities.

Overseeing Execution of Corporate Strategy initiatives in D&T:

  • Work closely with colleagues in the Strategy, Portfolio & Planning team, and finance to ensure alignment between digital and technology strategies and corporate objectives.
  • Support transparency on value management and benefits realization by establishing robust measurement frameworks and performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Executive Communications Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of executive-level communications, presentations, and reports for senior leadership and particularly our Chief Digital and Technology Officer
  • Synthesize complex information into clear and compelling narratives to drive decision-making and strategic alignment.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather relevant data and insights for communication materials.

Cost Transformation Tracking and Follow-Up:

  • Monitor and track cost transformation initiatives within the digital and technology domain.
  • Analyze financial data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure alignment with budgetary goals and committed targets.

 

What is needed to succeed?

  • Problem Solving: Ability to scope and break down problems, identify challenges, analyze root causes, and develop innovative solutions.
  • Top-Down Communication: Strong communication skills to articulate complex ideas to executive audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience in managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and market research to support strategic decision-making
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Technology Understanding: Solid understanding of technology trends, digital retail landscapes, and emerging technologies. Knowledge of retail-specific technologies is a plus.
  • The candidate must have a willingness to roll-up the sleeves, a humble attitude and ability to get things done.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or related roles, preferably within retail or technology
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
