We are looking for our next colleague with a proactive mindset and strong organisational skills to join our local development team based in Boston. As a project manager your key role is to progress and manage the development of offshore wind project. From regulatory approvals, stakeholder outreach, technical design, procurement and grid interconnections work are advancing on time, schedule and budget.

You will support initiatives including:

  • Represent projects in agency and stakeholder meetings.
  • Project manage the development of multiple projects
  • Advance any necessary contracting or internal approvals to ensure development tasks are advancing.
  • Prepare decision materials and formal updates to senior management. Develop shareholder presentations, reports, and materials.
  • Monitor and update in coordination with the Project Management Office (PMO) and rest of the team the project budget, resource plan and project schedule.
  • Monitor project risks and manage/coordinate their associated mitigation plans in coordination with the rest of the team.
  • Support bid, compliance, and other teamwork, as needed/available

To succeed in this role you:

  • Have demonstrated commercial skills - experience working with business cases and contracts.
  • Structured personality with solid project management and/or leadership experience – able to combine multidisciplinary inputs and deliver high quality work to deadlines.
  • Are an avid user of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Are a good team player with an entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
  • Analytical and detail oriented strategic thinker with ability to break down complex information and frame it for decision-making.
  • Possess excellent communication skills with ability to present and communicate complex information on a succinct way.
  • Have flexibility to manage and deliver “ad hoc” requests to support the project with tight turnarounds.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in parallel coordinating inputs from multiple members of the team.
