Then we are offering a unique job opportunity to join Ambu’s Global Procurement organization at our headquarter in Ballerup.

This position is responsible for leading the planning and execution of multiple indirect spend categories to drive savings, value and further efficiencies. You partner with all levels of stakeholders and leadership cross-functionally to build impactful, efficient, and cost-effective business and supplier relationships. The position reports to the Head of Indirect Spend, Global Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, provide strategic guidance, and ensure alignment with procurement goals.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to achieve optimal value, cost savings, and efficiency.
  • Translate category strategies into actionable plans and drive their implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance procurement effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets company standards.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, potential risks, and opportunities.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of category strategies and procurement activities.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.

Suggested Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, Business or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and category management.
  • Proven track record in executing category strategies and implementing plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and act on areas for improvement.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong business relationships.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
