About The Role

Join the team of EMEA Risk Engineers on our journey to become the leading service provider in the commercial insurance world You will closely work with clients and brokers as the technical owner of all Risk Management property-related matters. With a focus to our Nordics book-of-business within the BENELUX region and embedded in EMEA business division, also with the opportunity to service internal and external customers in other regions.

You will define a servicing strategy, engineer your own portfolio, achieving inventive risk selection, growing a long-term profitable book-of-business. You will review, interpret and build your specialist opinion based on third party risk information, conduct prospect visits and develop a strategy servicing plan for our customers.

You will also lead your own field-engineering visits, set priorities and targets for risk improvement and partner with our clients to develop a long-term relationship. You will serve as the account engineer and based on your skills will also conduct loss prevention visits for clients written out of other Swiss Re offices in the EMEA Region. You have a strong curiosity, learning new things every day and an affinity to look beyond, assessing data and identifying trends. About The Team

As a member of our global Risk Engineering Services (RES) community, you will be fully embedded in the EMEA RES Team and play a meaningful role in the Benelux deal Team. Based on your skills, you will develop to become a specialist in dedicated core industries or subject matters. This includes driving various projects, initiatives, development and implementation of strategies, creating standard methodologies, guidelines or papers and industry updates or developing new innovative service offerings. Our highly agile set-up allows a huge degree of job diversity and development opportunities. Our dual approach of own and 3rd party (field engineering partners) site surveys gives us increased flexibility and an outstanding customer-focus.

About You

The ideal candidate comes with a strong service minded approach and interpersonal skills, understanding of the business and is a great team player.

Master's degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred) Strong property loss prevention background (> 5 years at a reputable property risk engineering provider) Strong negotiation and presentation abilities Proficient digital literacy (., Microsoft Office products, work with databases, data analytics) and ideally an affinity to digital solutions (technical savviness) Language skills: Danish / Swedish / Norwegian (mother tongue or business Proficient), English (business Proficient) Willingness to travel - mainly within Europe Driving license

Additional :

The role requires presence in the office on a regular basis but based on our flexibiliity of work (hybrid) and Own The Way You Work principle. Preferably 3 days per week with exception of business trips.

For Denmark, the base salary range for this position is between DKK 806,000 and 1,344,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:


• The requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,

• The applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range.

In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.
