Danske Bank is seeking a proficient Senior Risk Officer to contribute to our mission of combating financial misconduct. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with a dedicated team, providing expert insights and establishing robust measures to mitigate tax evasion risks.
As a key member of our team, you will focus on preventing the misuse of Danske Bank for illicit activities, including bribery, corruption, and tax evasion. Your expertise will be essential in the tax evasion prevention sector, where we offer specialized guidance to internal stakeholders and ensure the implementation of effective controls.
Collaborative Environment
You will be integrated into the Fraud, Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) & Tax Evasion (TE) risk department, which operates under Financial Crime Risk and Prevention. This specialist team is dedicated to preventing ABC and TE risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert advice on tax evasion prevention strategies.
- Assist in the risk assessment of products, services, processes, clients, and third-party relationships concerning TE.
- Participate in the design and execution of targeted training programs on TE prevention.
- Support the implementation of policies and procedures related to due diligence and ongoing monitoring.
Your role will involve conducting thorough analyses and ensuring that Danske Bank maintains a comprehensive framework for tax evasion prevention. Staying updated on the evolving regulatory landscape and industry best practices will be crucial.
Essential Skills:
While your background may vary, experience in taxation or a relevant degree is preferred. Strong communication skills, particularly in English, are vital for effective interaction with corporate stakeholders.
