About the role
DFDS is developing rapidly across Europe including Turkey.

We are looking for a Head of Engagement and Young Professionals, who has a solid foundation with engagement surveys, and has been managing company graduate programmes – and who will set direction and execute priorities, processes and systems within these two areas

Specifically, this entails:
Engagement

  • Be process owner for our annual engagement survey, MyVoice. We use Peakon as our employee engagement platform
  • Own and drive the engagement survey, including prepare, execute and followup on the survey (in 2024, preparations include data upload from our existing HRIS – for 2025 onwards we expect to integrate Peakon with our new Workday solution)
  • Analyse data and recommend actions to top management based on results
  • Ensure communication at all steps of the process
  • Cooperate with local and central stakeholders
Young Professionals

  • Be process owner for our Young Professionals programmes, most notably our Finance and Ferry Graduate programmes. Our Ferry Graduate programme is run together with Danish Shipping
  • Drive the annual wheels of these programmes, including recruitment, onboarding, domestic and international rotations, and graduation
  • Support training and development initiatives for our Young Professionals
  • Ensure communication at all steps of the process
  • Cooperate with local and central stakeholders


As our new Head of Engagement and Young Professionals, you will join the People Division, who supports DFDS' overall strategy and works to ensure that DFDS becomes an even greater place to work.

Specifically, you will be a part of the Centre of Excellence team – based in our new headquarter premises in Nordhavn, Copenhagen – reporting to the Director, Centre of Excellence.

Within the team, we are responsible for different areas. However, we are team players and take great pride in knowledge sharing and in exchanging tools, approaches, etc. to inspire and help each other.

While we have a strong professionalism, we make sure to have fun along the way - both in the office and in off-site social activities.

About you

The ideal person for this position will have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience defining and driving global HR processes and tools
  • Experience in driving engagement survey, preferably with Peakon as tool
  • Experience in driving Young Professionals / graduate programmes or equivalent
  • Strategic, structured, and analytic mindset with strong prioritization and execution skills
  • Strong project management skills, combined with solid communications and stakeholder management skills
