Copenhagen, Copenhagen, Denmark The HubDanske Bank Full time

Veo is a global leader in AI-based sports camera technology. Our innovative, fully automatic camera solution enables sports teams to record matches and training sessions without a camera operator. We're democratizing the world of sports by granting video analysis for teams on all levels—a privilege that used to be only for the few. More than 40,000 clubs in 90+ countries record their games every week.

Growing as fast as we do in Veo means that every day is different, exciting, and challenging, both on the front line and in the back office.

But that's not the most remarkable thing about us.

The coolest thing is our people. We've attracted some of the brightest minds in the industry. They are the reason we can create a great product and do it while enjoying ourselves.

As the Product Quality Lead, you will be an essential contributor to shaping the Veo Quality Team. With your keen attention to detail and dedicated focus on product quality, you will diagnose issues, develop solutions, and lead improvement actions to ensure that existing and new products meet customer expectations continuously.

We aim to build Denmark's most innovative Product Development department in VEO. We are building a development team with all the necessary capabilities in-house to push the needle of innovation and innovation speed, where we will use our in-house assembly line to fast-track our time to market.

Responsible for:
  • Root cause analysis with appropriate teams (R&D/Capture, Customer Support, Production & Procurement). You will be responsible for involving the resources you need to get the root cause identified and the issue resolved (firmware, electronics, app, UX, mechanics).
  • Being a Quality Partner for our Capture team: Own and pioneer our strategy for hardware tests, Design for testing & design for manufacturing/lifetime quality. You will be a crucial factor in allowing us to grow and release new products without having too many operational burdens in the shape of quality issues taking up our time.
  • Collect data and assess quality metrics: Work with BI and the Capture associated Quant to understand and identify the issues as well as understand their full implications for our customers.
  • Develop electro-mechanical test systems for both R&D and production (involves internal Needle Bed automated test-jig and assistance from our software tooling developer).
  • In the future, you will be responsible for defining what tests new hardware has to go through before it can live up to 'The Veo Standard' — corrosion, thermal, ESD, drop, electrical stability, etc.
Attributes:
  • You are skilled in math and statistics, which aligns with your analytical thinking.
  • You understand processes well, making you great at managing projects.
  • You are committed and self-disciplined, which allows you to follow through on complicated issues, even if it might take a while to complete. (Hey, those milestones will be celebrated)
  • With the power of words, you can convey, summarize, and put complex topics into easy-to-consume stories.
  • You are structured and systematic - hate or appreciate it, but you know it benefits you.
  • You are a great communicator - team members trust you and follow your incentives. It might be because of your skills in building a compelling argument.
  • At some point in your career, you've most likely worked with hardware product development and manufacturing or used external manufacturing partners.
  • You've ideally worked in a quality function before.
Advantageous to possess:
  • Knowledge of 3D printers (you can get support from our mechanical engineers).
  • Coding skills to the extent of writing test scripts (you can get assistance from our software tooling developers).
  • Experience with lifetime analysis of PCBAs.
  • Experience with various types of test jigs (environment, Needle bed, RF, drop, salt spray, ESD, etc.).
Environment:
  • Fusion 360 / Solidworks.
  • Altium.

Getting up to speed with our tech is voluminous. It is a complicated product with many different functions, requiring you to catch up fast on how our product works for various areas (battery, optics, wireless, compute, PD ctrl, mic, etc). You should be up for a steep learning curve.

You will work closely with the Cam App Product Manager, Firmware engineers on bug fixing, Software tooling developers to bring test fixtures to life, the electronics team on test coverage, and Anton Husby, Head of Capture.

You will collaborate with a team that embodies innovation and professionalism, united by the goal of crafting a detailed IOT product from its initial concept through to its final creation.

At Veo, you'll be part of a thriving work environment where every day brings new excitement. Our rapid growth ensures a diverse and ever-changing atmosphere. We believe in work-life balance and providing a positive culture that allows you to thrive personally and professionally.

Our Copenhagen office mirrors our innovative technology – with an indoor ball court, rooftop terrace, and well-equipped gym. We have created a facility that supports connecting disciplines across the business, facilitates creative thinking, and gives the space to engage with colleagues, our global partners, and the entire Veo community.

Diversity and differences are valuable assets for us. We value diversity and inclusion and welcome people from all backgrounds. If you're excited about this role but your experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still encourage you to apply.

We're committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. And you may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Still interested? Join us at Veo and become a part of a team that delivers greatness and has a great time doing it.

We will invite for interviews continuously, so apply with LinkedIn or your resume as soon as possible.
