We are looking for an analytical and self-driven Project Controller with strong financial skills and a business-oriented mindset to support our growing Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA) business. The projects typically concern contracts that enable our customers to have a partner for a CO2-efficient and reliable operation of their assets and which stretch over several years covering service and maintenance on maritime applications.

As our new Project Controller, you will play a vital role in providing the financial transparency required for obtaining our ambitious strategic targets within our growing LTSA business. Additionally, you will:
- Apply your highly evolved financial and interpersonal skills to establish strong, trustful relations and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Act as a sparring partner for business stakeholders, supporting and challenging them while creating a transparent understanding of cost and revenue streams
- Ensure a transparent financial steering of our portfolio of contracts, foreseeing risks and opportunities and thereby enable mitigating actions, from the preparation of new business cases in the sales and tendering phase to the monitoring and controlling throughout the execution phase.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Prepare and review large new project business cases in collaboration with Sales and Tendering
- Ensure alignment in the handover of new projects from project sales to project execution
- Ensure proper project set-up and maintenance in SAP-PS
- Control and monitor large projects throughout the project execution phase
- Facilitate regular financial forecasts of the contracts in the portfolio in collaboration with project managers
- Prepare and present financial project forecasts and plan schedules of large projects to project execution management as well as executive management
- Provide financial input for large projects to the business planning, budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and optimize financial tools and reports for building new business cases and project monitoring
We imagine that you:
We expect that the right candidate has an educational background e.g. Cand.Merc., Cand.Polit., Cand.Oecon, or similar, and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a similar function.
Besides this, we imagine that you:
- Are self-driven with a proactive, initiative-taking approach and an entrepreneurial and innovative attitude to problem-solving
- Have strong management accounting skills and highly evolved analytical skills
- Have strong IT skills, preferably in SAP, including SAP-PS. Advanced Excel skills are a requisite
- Have a controller mindset where prioritization is based on significant drivers and financial impact, yet with the ability to ensure accuracy in the details
- Have the ability to identify and frame improvements in data and processes
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Danish
