We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Finance Partner to Region Europe, working as a financial advisor and sparring partner to the VP of Region Europe and their leadership team. You will in this capacity propose and drive commercial improvement initiatives, based on financial insights. You are also responsible for driving the global finance agenda across the region. In parallel, you will develop your skills and knowledge within the finance and commercial disciplines by working among and sparring with competent colleagues in both areas.

The Region Europe organization consists of 7 sub-regions/countries. You will join the Region Europe leadership team as well as get regular exposure to 3Shape's Executive Leadership Team.

You will report to the VP of Region Europe, with a dotted line to the Senior Director of the Finance Partnering & Planning and Business Intelligence (FPP&BI) department. The FPP&BI department is anchored within the CFO area, consisting of 16 engaged colleagues. The CFO area is characterized by a dynamic and international working environment with constant focus on driving impact for 3Shape and developing our employees.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the VP of Region Europe and their leadership team in finance and commercial related matters, including direct involvement in key projects.
• Manage all financial operations for the region, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Provide insights to drive strategic decision-making based on financial performance analysis.
• Collaborate with regional business leaders to identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies, e.g. within pricing and promotions.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals, e.g. profitability, in line with global directives.
• Drive business case processes and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Partner, preferably in a commercial / regional setting in a multinational company, Management Consultant or similar.
• Commercially and strategically astute with a deep understanding of business operations and market dynamics, combined with solid financial understanding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proven track record of driving commercial and financial performance and achieving business goals.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Skilled in Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in PowerBI and financial software and systems is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of a second European language is an advantage but not a prerequisite.

The position is based in Copenhagen. Occasional travel within Europe can be expected.
