About the NFTP Program

As part of Maersk's strategy to become the Global Integrator of Container Logistics, the NFTP Program is a key driver of transformation. This initiative is reshaping our financial technology, processes, policies, and ways of working by implementing a standardized, cutting-edge finance platform powered by SAP S/4HANA. Our goal is to enable real-time, reliable Finance & Tax analytics through a unified enterprise-wide system.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Platform SME, you will act as a product owner responsible for defining, developing, and optimizing financial reporting products. Your role will involve working closely with stakeholders, end-users, and cross-functional teams to bridge business needs with technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

User Engagement & Adoption:

  1. Track user adoption and analyze usage behavior
  2. Gather and address user feedback to enhance satisfaction
  3. Facilitate training sessions and learning initiatives

Requirement Management & Solution Design:

  1. Conduct business needs analysis and impact assessments
  2. Define and prioritize requirements with stakeholders
  3. Translate business needs into clear product features
  4. Collaborate with engineers and architects to drive technical solutions

Execution & Delivery:

  1. Work with scrum teams to ensure on-time product delivery
  2. Lead the testing process (test case creation, execution, defect resolution)
  3. Support users during go-live events with training and issue resolution

Process Improvement & Change Management:

  1. Act as a change agent, driving adoption of best practices
  2. Promote process efficiency through automation and standardization
  3. Continuously reflect and improve on past implementations

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven professional with strong financial, analytical, and product management expertise.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Master's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  2. 10+ years experience in data reporting & analytics
  3. 5+ years experience in product management or large-scale system implementation projects
  4. Hands-on experience with SAP BW, S/4HANA, or BW4HANA
  5. Proficiency in at least one reporting & visualization tool (e.g., SAC, Power BI)
  6. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills:

  1. Experience in data/BI software engineering or MS PowerApps
  2. Process excellence background (Lean, Six Sigma)
  3. Shipping, logistics, or transportation industry experience
