Our committed farmer owners are working hard every day to create the future of dairy including reaching our ambitious Future 26 Strategy and 2030 goal of a 30% reduction of farm-based emissions.

This ambitious strategy requires our farmer owners and business to work closer together than ever before, and this job opening is a unique opportunity to be part of Arla's Cooperative Processes team that leads the strategic interface between the business and our farmer owners.

As a cooperative, all 8,000 farmer owners of Arla have the opportunity to influence decisions. Arla's democratic structure gives decision-making authority to the Board of Directors and to the Board of Representatives. Corporate governance in Arla is shared between the Executive Management Team, the Board of Directors, and the Board of Representatives, who together define the company's strategic direction and ensure adherence thereof.

How do you make an impact
You will join the Cooperative Processes (CP) team and support the Director of CP in drawing up and driving our overall owner strategy towards our CEO, Board of Directors, and Executive Management Team. This includes:

  • Supporting and leading key committees in our democracy
  • Driving and coordinating the content of our overall owner strategy in close collaboration with key stakeholders across different departments
  • Directly driving or supporting some of the key projects in the owner strategy
  • Develop the agendas and some of the presentations for our Board of Directors and Executive Management Team meetings

This position offers you an excellent opportunity to work with owner strategy in a cooperative context directly towards our top management and Board of Directors. It will provide you ample of development opportunities as we have very broad exposure to different tasks and network across the organization. You will be reporting to Director of Cooperative Processes, Siavash Leyh Mirshahi.

How will you be a success
You have a business economics, finance or similar degree at Master's level and ideally experience from a top-tier management-consulting firm, investor relations agency or a political organisation. We expect that:

  • You thrive working in a highly political environment and excel at managing large groups of people in various committees
  • You have a very good eye for detail and a strong sense of pride around the content you deliver
  • You are able to independently scope and setup analyses and projects, and deliver these on-time and in excellent quality
  • You are a good and effective communicator – and you know how to summarize otherwise complex topics in a simple manner
  • You are structured as a person – but also like to work in a more fluid environment when things develop in an unexpected way
  • You feel confident in navigating multiple priorities and can manage different stakeholders and team members

An excellent command of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and English is an absolute must.
