The position
As the Head of M2 & PPV IT Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT systems.

Key responsibilities

  1. Ensure operational excellence on the shopfloor and across sites by developing a robust and agile delivery organisation.
  2. Drive the IT security agenda across API, ensuring secure systems and solid processes.
  3. Oversee API IT systems, ensuring high levels of compliance and Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  4. Manage IT departments, including people, cost, and business processes.
  5. Establish effective problem-solving, 24/7 support models, and management escalation.
  6. Drive continuous improvement through LEAN management systems and technology implementation.

In this role, you will be pivotal in shaping the future of our IT operations, ensuring that our systems are not only secure and compliant but also optimised for efficiency and continuous improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the IT departments.

Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can fulfill most of the following requirements for this position:

  1. A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in engineering or business and economics, with +5 years' professional experience as an IT leader or in project/programme management.
  2. Demonstrated managerial skills, good leadership abilities, and thoroughly practised negotiation skills.
  3. Broad network, organisational understanding, and ability to establish cross-organisational collaboration.
  4. Proactive stakeholder management at a senior level, with extensive technical knowledge and experience within the area.
  5. Elaborate pharma business understanding, experience working with senior management teams in PS or similar, and advanced analytical skills for analysing complex business issues.
  6. Broad knowledge within IT and automation systems within the pharmaceutical industry, experience with LEAN management and tools.
  7. Exceptional communication skills are required, and proficiency in Danish would be a plus.

About the department
You will join a highly skilled and dynamic team dedicated to supporting Novo Nordisk's API Production and securing products to our patients. Our department DD&IT PS API is based in Denmark and the US. We are a newly established area with high focus on building a robust, scalable and agile organization with an effective delivery model in close collaboration across the whole area and working side by side seamlessly with our colleagues in production, securing the critical ongoing production while keep moving towards an even more automated and digital production.
