Actief Hartmanns is recruiting for ATLANT 3D a Head of Operational Excellence and Transformation, who will play a crucial role in optimizing and transforming ATLANT 3D's operational framework.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that requires a systems-thinking approach, operational depth, and the ability to translate company strategy into executable operational plans. You will drive change across teams and technologies, ensuring that strategic goals are effectively delivered through structured execution and measurable outcomes.

In the role, you will get full responsibility for leading Operational Excellence, Digitalization, and the Project Management Office (PMO).

Furthermore, you will be responsible for leading transformation initiatives, developing the management system, overseeing the implementation of the Business Operation Strategy and System (BOSS), enhancing Quality Management Systems (QMS), and driving digital transformation. Additionally, you will manage the PMO to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's strategic objectives.

The position is a cross-functional key role where you will work directly with team leaders and employees to streamline business processes, establish operational excellence (QMS), and lead the company's digital transformation efforts. You will be hands-on in managing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and engagement at all levels. Your goal will be to help us build scalable, efficient operations while ensuring every team feels empowered and involved in the company's transformation.

We are recruiting a candidate with strong leadership capabilities, who can work across teams and functions to embed operational excellence and scale our systems and culture. The ideal candidate is a builder, systems-thinker, and change agent who thrives in dynamic, innovative environments.

In the position, you will report directly to the CEO.

Professional and Personal Profile:

  • Academic background in a technical field or in management/business administration.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, business process management, or digital transformation roles, preferably in tech, manufacturing, or high-growth environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in working directly with teams and individuals to drive operational change and improvement.
  • Experience with project management is required/highly recommended.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment across departments and successful delivery.
  • Experience in establishing or improving Quality Management Systems (QMS) in a growing organization.
  • Comfortable with digital tools and technologies, with a track record of successfully leading digitalization initiatives.
  • Proven experience in setting up training programs, onboarding, and continuous employee development frameworks.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, develop reports, and provide insights to guide decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire people at all levels of the company.
  • Systematic and structured approach to tasks and processes.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and agile mindset.
  • Ability to understand the big picture while diving into details.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire others.
  • Trustworthy and skilled at building relationships across various levels and functions within the organization.

In the first 12–18 months, you are expected to:

  • Convert ATLANT 3D's strategic roadmap into integrated operational programs across all departments.
  • Develop and implement the Business Operation Strategy and System (BOSS) across the company.
  • Establish and lead a cross-functional PMO and implement key digital transformation projects.
  • Drive measurable improvements in process efficiency, team alignment, and operational performance.
