Client Director - EuropeAre you our new Client Director - Europe?
The Client Director for Europe will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and retention of a portfolio of our European HQ clients, who are predominantly large multi-nationals within the Industrials, Healthcare and Financial Services sectors. An adept communicator, you will be able to build trusted relationships, enthusiastically champion Frankly and ensure our clients' expectations are met and exceeded. A tenacious networker, highly organised and structured in your approach, we would want you to be naturally curious about the ecosystems our clients operate within. As with all Franklies – we want you to share our passion for problem solving – creatively
Location
We are flexible on location, as long as you are based in Europe and open to regular travel to our Copenhagen HQ.
Responsibilities
- Business development/Client acquisition: Collaborate closely with the commercial team to follow up on potential client leads from various channels including digital marketing, events and outbound sales efforts to secure new clients. You will contribute to pitch proposals and presentations and play an important role in building rapport and understanding with potential clients.
- Client relationship management: Proactively, take full responsibility for the satisfaction, retention, and account growth of a portfolio of current clients, understanding their needs and delivering beyond expectations. Able to confidently engage with senior business leaders, resolving issues and contributing to enduring relationships.
- Strategic account planning: Develop and implement comprehensive account plans that drive revenue growth and align with client objectives and company goals.
- Revenue Management: Monitor and report on the revenue streams from managed clients, ensuring targets are met and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with teams across Frankly to deliver tailored solutions that enhance client engagement and satisfaction. Become a knowledgeable and passionate advocate for Frankly.
- Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to inform strategies and enhance the competitive position of our offerings.
Experience
- Client management – demonstrable experience of managing a portfolio of clients successfully. You might have worked within an agency/consultancy or within a large complex corporate. Experience of growing client accounts effectively is important.
- Sector understanding – experience in how large multi-nationals operate is particularly valuable, ideally, but not exclusively across B2B sectors.
- A strong and eloquent communicator, fluent English is essential both written and spoken. You will be used to presenting to a room of senior leaders confidently. Able to build effective trusted relationships with clients and your Frankly colleagues. Horizon scan and troubleshoot.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen – understand the dynamics of commercial negotiations, be financially literate and have a natural interest in the wider business ecosystem.
